WHERE WE'VE BEEN
from the beginning
Beginning with our first event, "Cause for Motion: an evening of dance" we have worked for to provide artists with a platform for social and philanthropic engagement. Starting in the fall of 2011, we began with a small performance, benefiting the Buffalo, NY Ronald McDonald House Charities. Seven months later, our first season concluded with "City of Hope: NOLA Cares" a benefit concert for the United Way of Southeastern Louisiana.
As we grew in capacity, The Helping Hands Campaign began working with artists from across the country; periodically coordinating outreach events with casts members from the national tours of DISNEY'S THE LION KING, WICKED, & JERSEY BOYS.
In the years since we have worked in collaboration with chapters of The United Way, Ronald McDonald House, NAACP, and numerous locally based charities -- raising over $100,000, and offering educational opportunities to over 5,000 students across the country
More importantly, we have operated through one focused lens: the power of art can change lives.
